Launching Salomon’s XT-6 In The Dolomites

To celebrate the launch of Salomon’s latest XT-6 collection, we packed our bags with an extra-special guest list to spend a few days out of the city, connecting with nature.

Channelling Salomon’s instinct for exploration, we took our squad to the village of Madonna di Campiglio to explore the mountains from the ground up. Unreal views. Next-level fits.

Here’s what we got up to.

Day 1: Ready to recharge

On Wednesday, the group touched down in Verona before heading to our boutique hotel, Casa Cook Madonna. A stripped-back bohemian retreat with a Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic in the mountains, this place is nestled in the small alpine town of Madonna di Campiglio.

Surrounded by five iconic alpine lakes and a UNESCO world heritage landscape, this was complete luxury to relax and reset.

The group arrived at the hotel with a display of Salomon’s new XT-6 collection to get a closer look at the silhouette. After some time to get settled, some of us stepped out to explore the local town, while some of the group made the most of Casa Cook’s wellness spa.

Just when we thought day one couldn’t get any better, we regrouped for an intimate dinner at Altitude 1.511 with a curated six-course menu by a Michelin-trained chef. We also hooked the team up with new XT-6 pairs, ready to customise with ropes, charms and beads to bring a fashion-focused edge to Salomon’s outdoor energy.

Day 2: From the ground up

Breakfast was needed on the second day of our Dolomites trip. We had big plans.

We invited the group to explore higher ground, following new routes and unlocking new perspectives.

And the XT-6 had us covered on foot. Adapted for daily steps and soft hikes, the silhouette is the ultimate everyday shoe. Making every outfit instantly cooler, the XT-6 pairs light and airy materials with EVA cushioning and trail-inspired details. A go-to every time.

The hike from Pradalago to Malghette Lake delivered stunning scenery – it was the perfect backdrop for pics in our new Salomons. Lunch in this alpine spot was the perfect escape from city life.

After hiking back to the hotel and taking time to rejuvenate, the guys got ready for the last night. It was back up the mountains (drivers at the ready this time) for dinner at Chalet Spinale. Up in the clouds, high above the Brenta Dolomites. Unreal.

The final descent

Before heading back to real life, we enjoyed a slow morning at the hotel to take in the last couple of days.

This was truly a trip to remember. Ready for your own adventure? Make sure it’s in Salomon. Shop the latest XT-6 colourways right here.
