We are barely three months into 2020 – but JD has been busy putting out the hottest content across our Insta, YouTube and loads more.
Just some of this year’s early highlights include UFC legend, Conor McGregor giving beard grooming advice to our very own Specs Gonzalez in an episode of Outside the Box; going LIVE with In The Duffle Bag Series 2 on International Women’s Day with Laura Whitmore – and that’s naming just a few…
Oh and Chuckie sat down with Liverpool FC manager, excitable personality and all round modern-day football legend – Jürgen Klopp.
As previously mentioned, we caught up with Laura Whitmore, who spoke about the challenges that still face women today, what can be done to empower them and how her boyfriend Iain Stirling ‘was too nervous to even hit on me’ when they first met. Recorded live in-front of a small audience of boss babe influencers on International Women’s Day, it was a statement start to season 2 of the In The Duffle Bag podcast. Catch up on what went down and find out how you can listen to Laura’s ep via iTunes, Spotify and Acast here.
Speaking sport, the always-working Specs sat down with ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor following his return to the UFC in Vegas back in January.
Taking time out for a special episode of Outside The Box, the guys cut it up about their mutual love of Reebok, Specs’ ‘stylish glasses’ and how Conor got his nickname. Check it out on our YouTube channel ⬇️
Elsewhere…In the latest episode of the Nike Styling Series ‘For The Gram’, our hosts Theo and Emily were challenged to layer a look for model Jordan and fashionista Jilly Isabella. The challenge? They had just THREE minutes.
It was as competitive as always as Theo went into it chasing yet another win against Emily. Did he achieve it? Only one way to find out – head over to watch it on @jdofficial’s IGTV right now.
We even got comfy, took our Shoes Off and sat for a couple of games of FIFA 20 and Plants Vs Zombies with Specs, Sharky, Anthony Joshua and some questionable snacks.
The rules of the game? Well they were pretty fluid, AJ asked “That don’t make sense?’” to which Specs replies “Why, it’s my house, I can make the rules now.” It wasn’t too long before chaos ensued. Watch the drama back below….
Fresh from Anfield, Chuckie sat down for a chat with Liverpool’s Jürgen Klopp for Episode 2 of In the Duffle Bag Series 2. As a Manchester United fan, Chuckie admitted that this was very ‘bitter sweet’ for him.
Liverpool’s current success and dominance is arguably all down to Klopp himself, but the German admits that failing was a key part to that – and not letting it change you. He says “Before that (winning the UCL Final against Spurs), I was one of the record holders in losing finals.. but the only way to find out if you’re good enough or not is to go to the final.”
Wanna’ listen on-to-go? Find out how you can catch the episode over on iTunes, Spotify and Acast here.
We’ve got LOADS going on and as we head into the summer it’s only going to get more hectic. So kick back, we got you covered…
