We decided it was time to show our Salomons what they were made for.
Last week, we invited a group of our favourite fashion girls for the ultimate retreat away from the city. On the guestlist? Chloe Frater, Katie Hoyle, Lauren Watson, Megan O’Welsh, Lily Watson, Kareena Jethwa, Miche Ming, Bethan McCoy, Leila Peacock, and Biba.

To celebrate the launch of a new collection of Salomon’s XT-6 and XT-Whisper, we headed up to the stunning Denton Reserve Hall in West Yorkshire.

A countryside takeover
Two nights of fresh air and country living. Perfect.
Our first day at Denton was chill. We’re talking good food, cute drinks and the best vibes. Meals were prepped using locally-grown produce, right from the 2,500 acres of the Denton Reserve land.
In the afternoon, Manchester-based bag brand @NOTS hosted a charm-making workshop for a crafting session. And like NOTS use for their bags, the girls used climbing rope to create the knots to keep things on brand, ofc.
Before the end of the night, we hosted the ultimate girl dinner. Think low lighting, candles and foliage, with the decor thoughtfully channelling the new Salomon colours. A delish three-course meal and a yap – count us in.
We wrapped up day one with a DJ set, with everyone getting involved at the decks. Honestly? This first day was gonna be tough to top. But just wait.
Outdoor essentials: XT-6 & XT-Whisper
Day two delivered on the wholesome vibes. Open the curtains to a view of deer wandering the enormous Denton grounds. You know it’s about to be a good day.
We kicked things off with a sauna session looking out onto the lake, followed by a yoga class to start the morning right.
The morning’s activities set us up for a hike through Ilkley Moors. Stepping out with Salomons on foot (always), the girls headed out for a stomp through the countryside. The XT-Whisper and XT-6 silhouettes were the perfect picks.
After cleaning up, it was time to make our way back to the city. Short, but definitely sweet.
