That’s a wrap. What a night with Nike.
The Nike After Dark Tour came to a close with the big 10k event in London on Saturday, 17th October. Over 5,000 runners descended on Silverworks Island for a night of fitness, community and non-stop energy.
No matter your goals. No matter your speed. This was all about coming together and celebrating women in sport, with a spotlight on safety as the dark nights draw in.
With an unmatched atmosphere only Nike can deliver, JD had a front-row seat for the whole thing.
JD x Race Day
We’ve been building up to this night for weeks now. From our Finsbury Park Track Night to Oxford Street takeover, the hype was real.
Safe to say, it delivered and more.
Joining us once again were Ash and Gee from Sunnie Runners, representing our UK community alongside @jazz.saunders and @malak.nasirr, with Club Rodeo bringing the energy for our EU crew. What a team. Talk about girl-maxxing.
Before the run, our JD Glam Zone was packed as everyone got Race Day Ready. We had airbrush tattoos, Suki Nails doing custom nails, and Braid Bar LDN giving the girls the perfect race-ready hair.
Over in our JD Spectator Zone, @tshamusic brought big vibes from behind the decks. Banger after banger. When the race started, everyone was shouting, cheering and holding up custom JD signs as the runners went by.
The support and sense of community was unreal. Our cup is full.
