The new third strip is a celebration of the cultural identity and creative spirit that makes Manchester what it is today.
Behind the design
Landing in a clean Ivory colourway, the shirt includes subtle, hand-drawn rose patterning. It’s inspired by artwork found in community spaces and youth groups that provide vital support across the city.
Youth has always a been part of Manchester United’s identity. And that extends far beyond the first team.
Maroon details to the collar, trims, crest and logos nod to the city’s traditional red-brick buildings. It’s a representation of Manchester’s rich industrial history.
Finally, green accents to the 3-Stripes, as well as a sign-off to the nape, pay homage to the iconic Salford Lads and Girls Club. One of the city’s most famous landmarks.
