Christmas is here! With plenty of fixtures over the festive period, let’s take a look at what’s coming up ahead of all the action.
Boxing Day Fun⚽
A stacked calendar on Boxing Day includes an early kick off game with struggling side Manchester City hosting Everton.
Now sat nine points behind league leaders Liverpool, the Cityzens will be hoping to claim their first win since 4th December.
Unbeaten in their last three games, the Toffees will be no easy challenge for City, after keeping clean sheets against title contenders Chelsea and Arsenal.
Forest are still flying near the top of the table and will want to continue their hot form as they head down to North London to take on Big Ange’s Spurs.
Spurs will need to be stronger than their 6-3 defeat to Liverpool if they have any chance of claiming points against the Tricky Trees.
Up at St James’ Park, we can expect a tight one between Newcastle and Villa. With huge threats for both sides in the form of Aleksandar Isak and Morgan Rogers, it’s hard to predict how this one will go!
A local derby in West London sees Chelsea host Fulham at Stamford Bridge. Both teams were tied in 0-0 draws in the previous game week, so they will both be keen to add some goals at the top end of the pitch.
Ivan Juric will be looking to win over the Southampton faithful as he takes charge of his Saints side for the first time against West Ham on Boxing Day.
Later In The Day ⌚
It was a more than impressive start for new Wolves head coach Vitor Pereira, as his side cruised past Leicester on the weekend.
He will be hoping for more of the same on Thursday night when his side welcome Manchester United to the Molineux for a 5:30pm kick off.
Next up is Brighton vs Brentford, who sit just two points apart in the league, followed by league leaders Liverpool vs Leicester at 8pm.
Boxing Day wrapped up at the Emirates as the Gunners host Ipswich in the final fixture of the evening.
