Soccer Aid for UNICEF is the world’s BIGGEST celebrity football match. The aim? To raise money to give kids that need it the best start in life. In 2020, a whole load of celebs joined some of football’s finest legends to take to the pitch and raise funds to fight Coronavirus. They raised a record £9,331,174 – the most the match has ever raised in the history of the show!
This year, Soccer Aid is bringing play back. The money raised from this year’s game could help UNICEF to deliver 2 billion Covid-19 vaccines to frontline healthcare workers, social workers and teachers around the world! This will help children get back to school, beat malnutrition and get the healthcare they need today and long after the crisis is over.
The countdown is ON and Soccer Aid will return in less than three months! Like always, you can expect a game packed with goals, drama, celebs and some of the most iconic names in football.
