In this sunny week in the world of lock down, we’re celebrating all the positive!
Shoutin’ out and supporting the NHS and our keyworkers is giving us all the morale boost we need! Applauding from front doors, windows and balconies while in quarantine mode, gets us all showing our huge appreciation for our heroes and says a massive thank-you to those keeping us safe every single day.
With the community joining together tonight to take part in clapping for our carers, NHS, keyworkers and those working on the front line, let’s sit back, relax and take a look at some of the stories that made us smile this week.
Uplifting Idea

Mr Van der Bosch has been driving his crane to homes in several towns across Belgium to connect families by lifting visitors to the top floors of nursing homes to see their relatives. He’s had little trouble filling his platform for this special kind of joyride!
Relay Racin’
Our #NHSheroes have been running socially distanced relay races up and down staircases in hospitals to raise money for colleagues and patients. Smashin’ it as always, nurses, doctors and physios and any staff who want to help, are continuing to support each other in this difficult time.

U Got This!
With life as we know it being uncertain RN, staying positive can be pretty testing. As it’s #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, the guys at Calm Zone have teamed up with Spotify to bring you the ultimate playlists and podcasts to keep you feelin’ inspired and positive in the lock down.

Havin’ a Ball
Makin’ unforgettable quarantine memories, Joel Conder from Surrey surprised his fam by transforming his WHOLE house into a mega ball pit made up of 250,000 balls. His daughters were all in shock and did what any of us would do – jumped right in!

Make Some Noise
New York City did it BIG and came together to show their appreciation for all carers by clapping through the city. Taking to their windows and balconies for the two-minute round of applause, they boosted spirits and showed support for the essential workers on the front lines of the current health crisis.
