Manchester United has dropped their brand-new home kit for 2024/25!
A difficult 2023/24 season ended with a famous FA Cup win over their neighbours and bitter rivals Manchester City, bringing some much-needed positive energy back into the club.
United will be hoping that good feeling can continue into the new campaign, where they’re set to face Fulham at Old Trafford in their first Premier League game back in August.
That won’t be the first time we see the new home kit in action, though. United will face City at Wembley once again when the two face-off in the Community Shield. Can they repeat that famous result for a second time?
The Kids Are Alright
It was the Red Devils’ teenage sensations that did the business in the FA Cup final.
19-year-olds Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo scored the goals that saw United claim the trophy over Pep Guardiola and his men.
Despite a troubling season, the youngsters, along with the likes of Rasmus Højlund and Amad Diallo, have been shining lights in an otherwise disappointing year at Old Trafford.
But a new chapter awaits and with it, a fresh new look.
Performance Focused
The 2024/25 Manchester United home shirt has some subtle nods to iconic kits of the past.
The red stripe on the collar is reminiscent of the 1990-1992 adidas home shirt, while the two-tone gradient design is similar to that of 1996/97.
It’s cut from breathable recycled polyester for a light, easy wear. Mesh panels amp up ventilation for additional airflow, while AEROREADY tech wicks away sweat to extract maximum performance from you and the players.
It has the iconic 3-Stripes to the shoulder and sleeves, the club crest and adidas Performance logo to the chest, and a new sponsor to the front.
The men’s shirt lands alongside women’s and kids’ sizes, as well as shorts and socks to complete the set.
