Inspired By History
Combining eras to create a shirt that brings all the retro feels, the new third kit nods to the past whilst bringing modern technology for high performance in the present.
The design is inspired by adidas’ EQT range and closely resembles the 1999/00 away shirt, with the white base colour and green/black panelling.
Similar to that shirt from late ‘90s and early ‘00s, the 2024/25 top has a spread collar in identical colours – black and green – with a button-up fastening for adjustable coverage.
For an added retro touch, adidas has thrown it back even further, opting to use the club badge that was on the shirts between 1983 and 1988.
Despite these OG design choices, the new kit still has all the mod-cons required for high performance at the very top level.
It’s cut from light, breathable recycled polyester and equipped with AEROREADY tech to remove sweat, allowing you and the players to stay in the zone at all times.
Mesh panels amp up ventilation to help you stay cool and composed when the intensity heats up.
The shirt lands alongside shorts and socks and comes in men’s, women’s and kids’ sizes. Cop your Newcastle United third kit right here and stay locked into @JDFootball across the socials!
