adidas ‘Trionda’ 2026 World Cup Ball

World Cup 26 countdown is on.

Ever since the first black and white World Cup ball was kicked in Mexico 70, adidas has been the official match ball manufacturer. And this time’s no different.

They’ve dropped some icons along the way. The Azetca in Mexico 86, the Fevernova in Korea/Japan 02 and the Jabulani in South Africa 10 spring to mind.

Now comes the Trionda for the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Three countries. Three cultures. Three colours.

The first time three nations have come together to host the tournament needs a ball that does it all. The Trionda delivers.

Why Trionda? ‘Tri’ references the three hosts and ‘Onda’ is the Spanish and Portuguese word for ‘wave’.

With a Star for the USA, a Maple Leaf for Canada and an Eagle for Mexico, the blue, red and green panels connect to form a triangle at the centre.

Gold details pay homage to the FIFA World Cup trophy along with the adidas Performance logo and WC26 branding.

To match the design, the biggest stage calls for the best technology.

The official match ball has a four-panel build with deep seams and debossed lines for high performance. To back this up, an upgraded version of the brand’s Connected Ball Technology makes for faster in-game officiating calls and better insight into stats.

Landing in competition, league and club editions for training, get set for World Cup 26 with the Trionda from adidas.
