Retro’s been the theme this season, and adidas has delivered again for The Reds.
This time, we’re going back three decades to the 1995/96 campaign.
Young talents like Robbie Fowler, Steve McManaman and Jamie Redknapp along with star signing Stan Collymore made them favourites for the title. But a third-place finish in the league and runners-up in the FA Cup were the best Roy Evans’ side had to settle for.
What stood out the most that year? The kits. While the home strip was a classic, it was the away kit’s bold quarter block design that turned heads.
Now adidas has revived the look with a full Liverpool FC Bring Back 95/96 Range.

Football history
White and green. A colour combo synonymous with Liverpool away days.
The shirt brings back all the old-school details. Retro adidas branding, pinstripe panels, a three-button placket and the signature sponsor to the front. You can’t forget that vintage Liverpool shield crest – iconic.
Remember we said range? adidas hasn’t stopped at the shirt. Grab the matching shorts, drill top, drill track pants and track top to feel like a Liverpool legend on the pitch.
The collection covers casual style too. We’re talking black and green tees, a crewneck sweatshirt and a blacked-out edition of the shirt.

A legend at Liverpool ONE
Who do you think of when you see that kit? Robbie Fowler, surely. 28 goals in the league, 36 in all comps. Talk about prolific.
At our flagship JD Liverpool ONE Store, we’re celebrating the re-release with the man himself.
Our dedicated ‘Fowler’s Sports’ shop within the store will bring some serious nostalgia with a look and feel of the ‘90s UK high street.
Want to the chance to see Robbie there? The local legend will be taking a Q&A. Tickets are limited, so sign up here for your chance.
