For the first time in 28 years, Scotland will be competing on football’s biggest stage.
The United States, Mexico and Canada await.
Not since France ‘98 have Scotland appeared at a World Cup.
It’s been a long time coming.
But they’ll be ready.
Time to shine
It’s a Scotland squad packed with talent looking to go further than those before them.
Never has a Scotland team made it past the first round of a World Cup.
This year feels different.
There’s a confidence and a swagger to this current crop of players.
Overhead kicks. 25-yard rockets. Lobs from the halfway line. Scotland pulled out all the stops in their showpiece match against Denmark that secured them their place.
This is a squad that knows they’ve got what it takes.
Big game players
Andy Robertson will lead his men into their biggest ever summer with the bit between his teeth.
One of Liverpool’s greatest defenders, he’ll be heading into the tournament with a point to prove – I’m not done yet.
Scott McTominay has taken his game to a new level since leaving for Italy. A Serie A winner in his first year at Napoli, he became the first Scottish men’s Balon d’Or nominee since Ally McCoist in 1987.
In the middle of the park, the ever-present John McGinn. The engine in the midfield. The heartbeat of the team.
Other key players to watch include Billy Gilmour, Ryan Christie, Ben Gannon-Doak and Lawrence Shankland. All four could have a key part to play in the success of Steve Clarke’s team.

Round 1
If Scotland are to make it to the knockouts for the first time in their history, they’ll need to navigate a tricky Group C.
First, Haiti on June 13th in Boston.
A strong start is essential.
Next up, also in Boston, it’s Morocco on June 19th.
The reigning AFCON champions, it’ll be a tough game, but one they can get something from.
Finally, on June 24th, Brazil.
Five-time winners, they’re the most successful team in World Cup history.
A stacked squad awaits them in Miami. Vini Jr, Raphinha, Casemiro, Gabriel and the rest.
If they make it past all three, they’ll be history-makers.
You in?
This summer promises to be huge.
The Scotland team are in.
The Tartan Army are in.
We’re in.
The only question that remains is.
Are you?
