adidas Originals Stan Smith, Forever

Clean just got cleaner! Wanna’ know how?…

Since it first dropped back in 1963, adidas Originals’ Stan Smith silhouette has become nothing short of iconic. Fast forward over 50 years and as of today, it’s the latest of adi’s sneakers to join the brand on their mission to help End Plastic Waste.

Taking a classic and bringing a new standard in sustainability, the Stan Smith returns in its cleanest make up to date. Check it out!

Style Meets Sustainability

With over half a century in the game, the Stan Smith sneaker completely refined tennis kicks – coming as the first leather shoe made for the courts. Although it was first dubbed the ‘Haillet’, it was later named ‘Stan Smith’ after the court champion that endorsed it.

It changed the game back in the ‘60s and in 2021, adidas are looking to do the same again. Keeping the OG design lines, they’ve revived and refreshed the legendary silhouette. Built through the lens of sustainability, the all-new Stan Smith has a recycled Primegreen upper made up of at least 50% recycled materials. It has the same look and feel and synthetic leather, but is kinder to the planet!

Primegreen isn’t new for adidas. As part of their mission to End Plastic Waste, they’ve used Primegreen tech across a whole load of their products, from tees to football shirts! But this is the first time they’ve touched the Stan Smith, redefining what a sustainable trainer can be.

Truly Timeless

Landing in men’s and kids’ sizing and a range of colourways, adidas Originals’ iconic sneaker is now truly timeless.
