Just last year, adidas Originals announced that they were teaming up with iconic toy brand, The LEGO Group for a number of collabs. With the first drop making waves, the duo is back in 2021 with a playful refresh of the ZX8000.
Dropping as the latest sneak in adidas’ A-ZX programme, the LEGO® ZX8000 ‘Bricks’ collection has launched in a whole load of colourways, in both men’s and junior sizing! Check it out.
All About A-ZX
Back in ’84, adidas changed the game when they created the ZX series – their first ever running franchise. For over 35 years, the ZX fam has become iconic, with a number of style and silhouettes combining performance tech with street-ready style and adidas’ signature aesthetic. They’ve become just as at home on the streets as they first were on the track.
In 2008 and 2009 with a whole archive of ZX kicks, adidas celebrated the ZX line with the first A-ZX programme. This involved not one, or two but 26 releases of ZX sneakers and now they’re back to do it all again in 2020-21…

Proving that you can never outgrow LEGO®, the collab kicks see a timeless adi icon updated with signature LEGO aesthetics.
The latest drop contains six, all-new colourways that each pay homage to iconic LEGO® bricks, including bold red, yellow, green and more. They each keep the OG ZX8000 design lines with a breathable mesh and synthetic suede upper, but rep co-branded tongue tabs and the signature heel cage with an instantly recognisable LEGO® brick texture.
