The ZX Line

First launching in the ‘80s, adidas’ ZX line was created to meet the needs of runners. The ZX 500 dropped back in ’84, and instantly changed the game. Not only did it offer support and to runners of all abilities, it actually looked good too.

With a number of ZX runners released, the ZX collection was refreshed and retooled throughout the years. The ZX line became synonymous with the brand’s freshest and most innovative technology, including the likes of Torsion tech and Soft Cell cushioning.

For almost 40 years, the ZX range has stood as a symbol of progress. Today, the ZX line still showcases adi’s latest innovations. As well as new tech being retro-fitted onto archive styles, they’ve dropped all-new silhouettes, like the ZX 2K Boost.

Up Close with the ZX 2K Boost

Packed with retro style and a signature ZX aesthetic, the ZX 2K Boost trainer takes inspo from the archives, but showcases adidas’ modern innovations.

Rooted in the DNA of the ZX 710, which first launched back in 1987, these trainers combine a classic look with responsive Boost tech for unparalleled cushioning. They’re built with a breathable, engineered mesh upper, and rep a Crystal White/Grey One/Hi-Res Green colourway, which nods to the OG 710.

Underfoot, they’re sat on adidas’ most responsive cushioning; Boost. Offering maximum comfort and a lightweight feel, the full-length Boost midsole gives the retro sneak a modern refresh. They have a TPU cage for stability, and are finished with the legendary 3-Stripes to the sidewalls, as well as Trefoil branding to the tongue.
