Iced out of the sneaker game in recent years, the adidas Climacool has been thawed off and is back in a big way.
Originally debuting in 2002, adidas’ sub-zero, tech-inspired shoe innovated the footwear world with a 360-degree ventilation system and a futuristic design in the noughties.
Now on the shelves once again, the trainer’s crisp mix of structure and style looks just as fresh in 2025, and we’re ready for it to take over the streets.
Let’s Talk Tech…
Starting at the feet up, the all-new Climacool 1 trainers nod to its early 2000s heritage with a pared down shape whilst keeping the performance-driven features.
The mesh upper has ventilation ports throughout for constant airflow as you’re on the move. To balance the lightweight mesh, a unique TPU midfoot cage supports and stabilises your foot, and the textile lining feels smooth when you lace in.
Underfoot, the springy EVA midsole is offset by the signature TPU pieces to the midfoot and heel for an ultra-strong base to set off from.
The silhouette is finished up with grippy pods to the split rubber outsole, eye-catching 3-Stripes to the sidewalls, and the ice cold Climacool badge woven to the tongue.
Your Colour’s Callin’
From darker tones to statement shades, these tech-rich trainers drop in a new batch of colourways this season. Bases of Core Black, White and Greys are highlighted by pops of Blue, Red, Orange, Pulse Lime and Clear Aqua across eight different pairs.
Head-to-Toe 3-Stripes
We’re not here to tell you how to rep them, but complimenting these modern-day classics are a fresh range of ‘fits and accessories from adidas.
Inspired by training, slim-fit tees, unrestricting shorts, tapered track pants and full zip jackets offer a full Climacool look from workouts to city explores. Dropping in colourways to perfectly pair with the trainers, rely on the brand’s sweat-wicking AEROREADY tech for cool comfort when it’s time to turn up the heat.
Better yet, reflective details, including the 3-Stripes and Performance logo, shine bright when the light drops low, so you’re always ready, wherever the plans head.
