Since Brother Walfrid’s vision in 1887 to create a football club with the aim of combatting poverty in Glasgow’s East End, Celtic FC’s birth has seen them etch themselves into football folklore.
From those early meetings and their inauguration in St. Mary’s Church Hall, there have been several kits before the one that has become synonymous with the club.
In 1903, Celtic donned their green and white hoops for the very first time. To this day, that famous strip remains unchanged. Now it’s time to honour that heritage.
Glasgow’s Green & White
adidas has created a shirt that invokes the rich history of Celtic FC, whilst maintaining a contemporary edge that enhances performance.
It of course features the unmistakable Team Green and White hoops and has a ribbed crewneck with short sleeves for a classic look.
Tech Your Game up a Gear
To deliver all-day comfort from the stands of Celtic Park to the training pitch, it’s crafted with a lightweight and breathable recycled poly fabric.
For tense moments, this shirt’s equipped with sweat-wicking AEROREADY tech to ensure you’re kept cool when you need it the most.
Showcasing your pride, it’s finished with a tonal Celtic FC crest embroidered to the chest along with the Performance logo.
Stocked up on Silverware
Achieving milestones is at the core of what Celtic FC are about. They’ve amassed 53 League Titles, 41 Scottish Cups, 21 League Cups, and a European Cup.
Of those 53 League Titles, on two occasions, nine have been won in a row. Though the most important victory arguably came in 1967 against Inter Milan.
Guided by the legendary Jock Stein, Celtic became Kings of Europe and the squad has been immortalised as the Lisbon Lions.
More recently, with Brendan Rodgers at the helm, Celtic completed the treble three times on the bounce.
