Coming Soon: adidas Ultra Boost Parley

Back to make a statement, adi have teamed up once again with Parley to release a brand new colourway of the Ultra Boost 4.0.

Combining its innovative tech with Parley’s goal to end marine pollution, the latest edition is a must-cop if you wanna’ look fresh while doing your bit to save the oceans.

adidas x Parley

Turning the tide on ocean waste, adidas regularly collab with environmental initiative Parley; a space where creators, thinkers and leaders come together to work on projects that can end destruction. As a founding member, adi strives to support Parley by raising awareness and funds to help protect and conserve the oceans.

Starting in 2015, adidas have recreated some of its most iconic silhouettes, including the EQT Support ADV, Deerupt and of course, the Ultra Boost! To celebrate World Oceans Day in 2016, adi produced a world first. It launched a limited edition adidas x Parley running shoe, which came equipped with the first upper made entirely from reclaimed and recycled ocean waste and illegal, deep-sea gill nets.

Not only using recycled materials on kicks, adidas and Parley have tracksuits, hoodies, swimsuits, football kits and more all made using recycled waste.

The New Ultra Boost

The latest edition landing this week comes in a Legend Ink/Carbon/Blue Spirit colourway. Made with Parley Ocean Plastic, these sneaks use upcycled waste from coasts and beaches – intercepting this before it reaches the sea. There’s around 11 recycled bottles in each pair!

Though the laces, heel webbing, heel lining and sock lining are all made from recycled waste, the sneaks still look like any other Ultra Boost, built with a Primeknit upper for breathable comfort and a sock-like fit. Finished up with a white Boost midsole for adi’s most responsive cushioning to date. Expect the same levels of comfort with an ocean-friendly edge.

Stay locked in for the launch – @8AM | 27.06.18.
