Debuting back in ’82, the Air Force 1 started life as a basketball sneaker, worn by some of the NBA’s best players of the time.
Bringing springy Air cushioning to the hardwood, the Air Force 1 was originally designed with performance in mind.
But the release of the Air Force 1 Low caused an explosion of popularity on the streets, sparking the foundations of sneaker culture as we know it today.

First appearing back in the early ‘90s, the Air Huarache arrived to mixed reviews, mostly down the outlandish design and a lack of Swoosh branding.
Originally made for road-running, they were first sold to marathon-runners who praised them for comfort and practicality.
It was the feel of the Huarache that eventually brought it to mass attention, with a soft yet durable neoprene upper and a spongy Nike Air midsole.
But the OG design is now essential to its appeal today, with fans of classic ‘90s style and retro-inspired ‘fits still lacing them up.
