Confirmed: Joshua v Pulev

After months of speculation, Matchroom has finally confirmed that our guy, Anthony Joshua will take on Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev on Saturday 12th December at the O2 Arena, London.

Originally due to happen on 20th June, the delayed bout will see the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO champion return to home soil for his first fight since his defeat over Povetkin in September 2018.

Two-time European champion, Pulev has lost just once to Wladimir Klitschko in his 29 professional fights and he’s now the mandatory IBF challenger.

With AJ being out of the ring for a year, he’s keen to get back to it and progress his career…has he got what it takes?

Road to Undisputed

AJ’s sights are on an undisputed title fight against new WBC champion, Tyson Fury. But first, he must dispose of his mandatory challenger, Pulev. If AJ and Fury can take care of business this time, the Undisputed heavyweight title fight the world has waited for could be finally on the cards!
