The back-to-basics Continental 80 from adidas Originals returns with a fresh crop of colourways to give your sneaker collection a true ’80s look!
Retro Style
The Continental 80 first dropped back in June as part of the adidas ‘Yung Series’, following in the footsteps of Kanye’s Powerhouse sneaker – keeping the look simple yet standout. First landing in a black and a white colourway, these sneaks bring a street-ready look with a sporty edge, throwing it back to the court style of the 80s – when the original Continental was first released!
A one-to-one recreation of the OG silhouette, the Continental 80 makes sure you’re getting authentic ’80s style. In contrast to the chunky sneak look that’s blowing up at the moment, these trainers have a clean, grain leather upper for a premium look and feel, while perforations to the toe boost breathability. Tonal stitching throughout makes sure the sneaker has a uniform look, while an EVA midsole gives you responsive cushioning taken straight from the courts. These straightforward sneaks are finished off with the standout, contrast red and navy stripe to the sidewalls.
Colour Injection
Returning in a range of pastel colourways, adidas are switching up the look, while keeping the sneaks’ iconic, simple style. Landing in Aero Blue, Clear Pink and Frozen Yellow colourways. Whichever one you decide to cop, these shoes are bringing all the colour to your retro wardrobe!
These hot ’80s sneaks are sure to go fast. Make sure you don’t miss out on the men’s blue and the women’s pink and blue colourways. Dropping at JD @ 11pm | 12.09.18.
Keep an eye out for the men’s pink and yellow colourways – coming REAL soon.
