‘Bred’ is Back
Ranking right up there among Jordan grails, the ‘Bred’ colourway was first seen in 1996. Answering sneakerheads needs, it’s been retro’d just three times since – back in 2001, 2008 and 2012.
When Michael Jordan made his comeback to the NBA in 1995, he teamed up with Nike’s design legend Tinker Hatfield to step back onto the court lacing up in something totally different; the Air Jordan 11. It was the first time that patent leather has been used on a basketball sneaker and broke all the rules. The Black/True Red-White colourway aka. ‘Bred’ was the third colourway repped by the Air Jordan 11.
