It’s the news you’ve all been waiting for! In the Duffle Bag is back for a THIRD season and you know we had to mark the occasion by getting Aitch back in the booth! It’s been the best part of a year since the Manchester MC sat down with Chuckie for our very own podcast and it goes without saying that A LOT has happened since.
The 20-year-old from Moston started this year touring his AitchH20 record and was just about to jet across the planet to Australia when the global lockdown grounded his plans, just like it did for nearly everyone else.
And while he “hasn’t performed for” ages it hasn’t all been bad – back in May he released his Polaris EP totally independently. Titled after The North Star, a nod to Aitch himself, he made the decision to self-release the EP to have that “taste of independence so that it’s on me for what I want to do and what I don’t want to do.”
“I don’t have a problem with being a pop star”
Catch the full chat to hear Aitch discuss how you “can’t please everyone”, figuring out where his “lane” is in the industry and loads more.
