JD and ON present RUN & BASS – where music meets running on the streets of Liverpool.
We celebrated this connection with our very own run community activation. Here’s what went down 
RUN & BASS Rewind
Hosted in the heart of the city, our running squad met at Core Coffee & Kitchen where they checked in and laced themselves up in a pair of the latest Cloudsurfer Next trainers for the run – the perfect running shoe for city routes.
Runners collected their run kit on check in, where they received exclusive RUN & BASS T-shirts, water bottles and sweat towels. Applied Nutrition supplied the runners with energy gels and drinks pre and post, whilst Crep Protect were on hand to keep runners’ shoes in pristine condition with their protecting spray.
To kick things off, everyone was taken through a quick tech talk around the features of the Cloudsurfer Next. Following this, Coach Joe (@bybcoaching_) led a quick warm-up to get ready for the challenges ahead before splitting into three running groups: beginner, intermediate and expert. Each group ran 5km through the iconic city, breezing past famous landmarks and stopping off to take on the challenges at each checkpoint.
First up they headed to George Parade, Pierhead, to put their speed to the test; next it was all about endurance and teamwork at the Bombed Out Church; finally a group selfie outside the JD Liverpool One store, in front of the On Running window campaign!
Completing each challenge was no easy feat, that’s why Liverpool local and JD regular Still Ryan (@stillryan1) kept the groups motivated all the way to the finish line, where they would have an extra surprise waiting for them…
Arriving back at Core, our RUN & BASS club were treated to a secret set from well-known DJ Josh Baker (@joshbakermusic)!
From coffees and health shots to buns and pastries, breakfast was served 
We also threw in an extra JD x On Running treat with scratchcards worth up to £100!
