With Birmingham and Manchester qualifiers all wrapped up, we’re getting hyped for the Ball Out UK final! Taking place on the 12th and 13th of August at Finsbury Park, London, it’s guaranteed to be a MEGA day both on and off the courts.

The Manchester Qualifiers
Over the weekend, we headed down to the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester to see what the qualifiers were all about!
Packed with intense 3×3 games all day and over 90 teams competing, it gave us a taste of what the final has to offer! We saw special VIP guest appearances from British Basketball League players, Kofi Josephs (@dejkoaf) and Jordan Whelan (@Whelan23), while resident DJ W8 (@DJW8Music) kept the good energy flowing all day.
As well as the tense qualifier rounds, an impromptu dunk contest went down too! The winner bagged £50 in Wingstop vouchers 🍗👀
All of the qualifying teams from Manchester will join those from London, Birmingham and Essex, and have made it through to the London finals this weekend…
The Final at Finsbury
It’s here! We’re heading to London this weekend to bring signature JD vibes to the Ball Out UK final.
Our YouTube ambassador Darkest Man (@darkestman) will be down to host, and we’ve also linked up with the More Than Ball crew (@morethanballshow) who’ll be bringing their b-ball energy to the JD court.
Head over for everything from dance performances from Kay & Co (@kayrenex), to elite food from Wingstop and Bickles Carribean. You can expect loads of activities that you can get involved in, as well as free customisation on laces to upgrade your sneaks.
Not stopping there, the games will be heating up across the courts too. Over the two days, we’ll see the qualifying 3×3 teams go head-to-head in their group, lookin’ to bag a W. You don’t wanna miss the Dunk Contest either!
