Running It 
Let’s rewind to 1999 when the OG New Balance 1000 silhouette first dropped.
Designed as a performance running trainer but with a Y2K aesthetic, the kicks included standout features like prominent overlay panels, neon eyelet units and a sculpted sole that defined their appearance.
Hiding themselves away in the archives for over a decade, the sneakers burst back onto the scene in 2024.
With a new launch campaign , it kickstarted their reintroduction to the streetwear game.
After gaining more traction that powered their revival, the treads later launched in three JD-exclusive colourways.
Breaking Things Down
Following on from their massively popular drop last year, New Balance are moving things forward with another four additions to the 1000 fam.
Up top, they have an inverted mesh and leather overlay design, and mesh underlays that emerge from standout overlay panels for a refined, tech-inspired look.
Underfoot, a segmented sole unit features ABZORB cushioning at the heel and forefoot, while a grippy rubber outsole offers traction as you step out on the streets.
They’re all signed off with the well-known and loved ‘N’ logo on the sidewalls for that signature New Balance finish.
City Stepping 
Taking to the city streets, MOBO award winning drill star Pozer and Amsterdam-based rapper Lusho have been reppin’ the new 1000 colourways.
Having previously worked together on their single ‘Cross Waters’, the rap sensations have linked up once again for another fire collab.
