First debuting back in the late 2000s, Boston born running brand, New Balance, has brought back the iconic 1906R silhouette with not one but two JD-exclusive colourways.
Given a street-ready upgrade as New Balance continues to experiment with the design, the 1906R lands in both a Metallic Black and Concrete Grey edition.

Inspired by Y2K
Named after the year the brand was brought to life, the 1906R took centre stage in 2022 with the retro cues and its signature running shape.
Complementing the top-trendin’ athleisure style that’s come with hybrid working life, the newest editions have durability, comfort and clean design lines down to a tee.
The upper has a breathable mesh base to keeps things cool, while synthetic overlays combine with an ABZORB SBS heel cushion and the classic N-lock lace-up system to provide a secure fit that cradles your foot.
Underfoot, the track-inspired tech continues with a foam ABZORB midsole that both cushions and compresses impact, adding a spring to your step. Beneath this, the Stability Web outsole tech and the rubber N-ergy outsole blend to give you arch support, next-level grip and standout shock absorption.
Completing the redesigned sneaker is the brand’s angled ‘N’ logo at the sidewalls and the end of the lace-up closure for a signature finish.
