New For 2025/26: Newcastle United Third Kit

2024/25 put the Toon back where they belong.

Champions League qualification? Secured. Carabao Cup? In the trophy cabinet.

The future looks bright. But before we look ahead, adidas Originals has looked back to the archives for the latest Newcastle United third kit.

Back in blue

Something familiar about this one? Let’s go back to the 1997-98 season.

Thirteenth in the Prem came as a shock for the Magpies after two second-place finishes. A big day out at Wembley ended in defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup final.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom. Despite the loss, Newcastle still qualified for the Cup Winners’ Cup.

The main thing that campaign was remembered for – the away kit. An icon in the club’s history.

Inspired by that famous away design, the navy base is replaced by Victory Blue. The bold orange and green stripes are swapped out for Bahia Orange on the V-neck collar and short sleeve cuffs.

On the right side of the chest, the adidas wordmark is out. An embroidered Trefoil is in.

On the left side, the legendary Newcastle badge remains. Sewn on within a Black shield.

Ready for the road

Champions League to the Premier League, Newcastle have big away games coming.

Made to perform, the lightweight recycled polyester fabric has mesh panels for airflow.

For the fans, AEROREADY tech is added to the stadium shirt. For the players, HEAT.RDY tech keeps them cool in the match edition.

Complete with matching shorts and socks, is it too early to call kit of the season?

We’re here for it. Grab your size and back the Magpies this year.
