The Beacon Branding
The inspo behind the Beacon branding and logo comes from Herd Groyne; a lighthouse at the mouth of the Tyne.
Built back in 1882, it’s a famous landmark in South Shields where the Barbour brand was born two years later. Offering protection, the Beacon symbol stands strong within Barbour’s DNA. Their first line of protective outdoor gear was in fact dubbed Beacon.
