Just in time for autumn/winter, Barbour’s latest sub-brand, Barbour Beacon has landed at JD. Bringing with it Barbour’s iconic British heritage, Barbour Beacon switches up the brand’s norm by adding a contemporary edge to their classic ‘fits.
Keepin’ you covered when the weather heads south, their latest collection is bringin’ you everyday tees, padded jackets and more. Guaranteed to beat the elements.
The inspo behind the Beacon branding and logo comes from Herd Groyne; a lighthouse at the mouth of the Tyne.
Built back in 1882, it’s a famous landmark in South Shields where the Barbour brand was born two years later. Offering protection, the Beacon symbol stands strong within Barbour’s DNA. Their first line of protective outdoor gear was in fact dubbed Beacon.
Respecting the iconic aesthetic of the Barbour brand but adding a modern look, the Barbour Beacon collection is built for now.
The Stybarrow Waxed Jacket is a fresh take on one of Barbour’s best-selling designs. It has the same waxed outer for a winter-ready finish, but has been upgraded with a bold orange lining that’s sure to turn heads.
