The History of DC Shoes…
Founded back in 1991 by Cali-guys Ken Block and Damon Way, DC Shoes wasn’t always known as DC. Most people don’t know that is was originally dubbed Eightball, followed by Droors and finally DC Shoes, which stuck.
DC smashed the boundaries of skate by creating innovative sneakers that changed the sport. Evolving from the backstreets to one of the biggest urban sports, the duo started out by creating game-changing skate shoes, but have gone on to create more than just sneakers, with next-level apparel to match.
In 1999 they were actually the first brand to do a sneaker collab with Supreme – when it was a little smaller than it is today…
