This past weekend, Manchester’s biggest festival returned for a party that was two years in the making. Let’s just say it was worth the wait!
JD at Parklife 2021
Parklife took over Heaton Park, Manchester, for its best weekend yet on the 11th and 12th September, so we linked up with some of our fave faces to put festival SZN in full swing! Did you spot them in our JD area?
Over the weekend, we hung out with Love Islander Chloe Burrows to get us in the mood for day 1! With some huge acts taking to the stage on Saturday, we saw the likes of Dave and Peggy Gou close their stages, with big names like Megan Thee Stallion and Annie Mac bringing allll the vibes through the day.
Day 1 of Parklife saw Ivorian Doll (@ivoriandoll), Shy Girl (@0800shygirl) and MIST (@mist_rs) hit our seeding lounge for a quick visit, too!
On Sunday, we hooked up with our fave TikTok’ers Brooke (@brookehwr on TikTok) and Max (@max_belegde). Over on our Insta stories, they took us to watch Becky Hill and Mabel at The Parklife Stage! Skepta closed the show at the main stage, along with Jamie XX and Disclosure in other areas of the festival.
Later, we linked with our host Ehiz Ufuah (@_ehiz on TikTok). He interviewed some of the biggest names of the weekend, including Rejjie Snow, Princess Nokia and the Mason Collective. Moyo J Ajibade (@moyonlm), and Nifé (itsjustnifee) got involved on stories too! We saw Migos, KSI, Slowthai and Skepta with our TikTok crew. They posted some incred content to our Instagram stories in case ya’ missed out on Sunday.
Aitch (@aitch), AJ Tracey (@ajtracey), BBK (Skepta’s crew) stopped by our seeding lounge to say hey on day 2!

That’s a wrap!
Over the weekend, we saw festival-goers get active at the JD stage. There were games of shoebox Jenga, a crep claw machine to win sneaks, and JD gift cards given out all weekend long!
We had the sickest weekend with Parklife at our JD stage with Crep Protect! With prizes to be won, creps to collect and bangin’ tunes along the way, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! ‘Til next year…
