Rooted in Retro: Nike Air Max Dawn

First revealed at the end of last year, Nike’s Air Max Dawn trainer has finally dropped at JD!

Coming as the latest in the brand’s legendary Air Max line up, the Air Max Dawn takes archive running style and brings it straight up to date in a modern, street-ready sneaker.

Landing in a range of colourways and men’s and junior sizing, the Air Max Dawn continues a whole new era of Air. Get the low down on the latest launch and find out how to cop it right here. ⬇️ ⬇️

Track-Inspired Style

Back in November, Nike dropped the Air Max Pre-Day; a runner-inspired silhouette that’s built for the future.

Fast forward to now and the Air Max Dawn is continuing in its predecessor’s footsteps. Also taking cues from old-school running trainers, the all-new silhouette combines retro vibes with modern design details – guaranteed to make waves this season.

From ’87 to now, Nike’s Air Max line has been making history. Showing no signs of slowing down, the brand is following up the heat they dropped back in 2021 with another new silhouette; the Air Max Dawn. Let’s get a closer look…

Up Close with the Air Max Dawn

Packed with track DNA, the Air Max Dawn is built with at least 20% recycled materials by weight. They have a combination upper with layers of lightweight textile and synthetic suede. The design lines nod to a heritage look, featuring a low-profile, visible Air-sole unit with retro pill-shaped window inspired by the archives.

With a soft plastic heel clip for a stable feel every time you lace up, these trainers have a statement outsole with a seesaw pattern that adds traction and durability on the streets. Each colourway is finished up with the iconic Swoosh logo to the sidewalls.
