Throw It Back With adidas Originals

Retro is in this year! And to celebrate the old-school trend, adidas Originals has dug into the archives to bring bold colours, classic cuts and vintage branding together for the latest Adicolor ’70s collection.

With men’s and women’s sizing available, the detail-oriented range takes ‘70s-inspired apparel and adds a vibrant, 21st century refresh.

Like the sound of it?! Get the inside scoop right here…

For The Guys

Droppin’ head-to-toe style, they’ve got your everyday rotation covered with a range of tees. Inspired by retro football shirts, the Vintage Cali T-Shirt is cut from a cotton and recycled polyester mix for a durable feel. It features the iconic 3-Stripes at the shoulders and premium ribbed detailing at the collar.

For extra coverage on cooler days, the Long Sleeve Rugby Shirt takes a sporty silhouette to a new level with a tonal Trefoil monogram print and a V-neck, fold-down collar. Signed off with thick cuffs and the 3-Stripes donning the sleeves.

If you’re looking for a more classic, less sporty vibe, the Large Trefoil T-Shirt infuses retro into your everyday essentials. Dropping in Rich Purple and Super Pop designs, the cosy French terry cotton offers a relaxed, loose-fit wear, while the ribbed crew neck holds the shape. Signed off with an oversized Trefoil logo stamped to the chest.

Taking cues from the iconic Beckenbauer tracksuit, the matching Track Pants and Track Top offer a truly ‘70s combo.

Crafted from super-smooth fabric for long-lasting comfort, the suit provides a tapered design for a streamlined fit. Steeped in the brands’ sporting heritage, the top has a full zip front and funnel neckline for added versatility, while the pants have an elasticated waistband and a drawcord fastening to keep ‘em snug.

Rep them together or switch up the colourways, they’re finished up branded coil zippers and a suede Trefoil for a luxe edge.

For The Gals

The brand-new women’s range offers laidback style throughout – starting off with the Oversized T-Shirt! Providing a playful take on your daily staples, ultra-soft nylon crepe fabric keeps you comfy, and the dropped shoulders, slightly cropped hem and contrasting ribbed trims create a roomy fit.

When it’s time to step outside and layers are callin’, throw on the matching Sweatshirt. Landing in a Super Pop colourway with Green accents throughout, the French terry cotton build and chunky trims offers a plush feel like no other.

Not done just yet, adidas has also dropped some outerwear to keep you fresh in the coming months. The Velvet Vest is the perfect go-between as the temps are fallin’. Built from plush velvet, it’s equipped with a bungee-adjustable hem to lock out the cold.

If it’s looking like a rainstorm will hit, standout from crowds with this women’s Windbreaker. Fitted with a drawcord hood for custom coverage, it’s rounded off contrasting sleeves and a bold Trefoil badge stamped to the chest.

Whether it’s a sofa day or you’re off into the city, adidas has both bases covered. For cosy chills, the regular-fit Joggers have a drawcord tie at the waistband for easy layering, while the cuffed hems show off your sneakers when out on a weekend errand.

In contrast, the Flared Leggings blend the retro inspiration with a modern twist. Ranging from a Collegiate Royal and Bold Gold colourway to the standout Scarlet tone, these stretchy velvet pants draw back to the signature bell-bottom designs of past.

The high waist and loose leg silhouette combine for a flattering, figure-hugging feel and a disco-fever look.
