The Inspiration
Although the Zig Kinetica has a futuristic aesthetic built on imagination, the design team still looked to the archives to bring that signature Reebok DNA.
The Kinetica takes cues from the Zig Pulse, which dropped a decade ago in 2010. For the past 10 years, Zig remained one of Reebok’s most identifiable technologies so when the time was right, they started to redesign and bring it back to life.
What’s Zig Technology?
Although Zig isn’t a new innovation, it’s been upgraded massively for the Zig Kinetica. The midsole is made up of three components that work together to offer maximum impact.
They’re equipped with Floatride Fuel foam for a responsive ride, as well as a durable Zig Energy Shell that wraps around the midsole for a bold look that channels energy back into each stride – it keeps the energy in there! To finish up, Zig Energy Bands in the outsole snap back to pack even more energy.
