West Ham United v Luton Town: A JD VIP Experience

On Saturday, 11th May, we gave our competition winners the experience of a lifetime as they were treated to a matchday experience like no other.

The lucky Hammers fans were given the full VIP treatment as the team took on Luton Town. Here’s what went down in East London!

A Day to Remember

It was a special day at the London Stadium for a number of reasons.

The first being that this game was to be manager David Moyes last home match as boss after a successful 4-and-a-half seasons in charge.

In the 2021/22 season, he took West Ham all the way to the Europa League semi-finals, before delivering the club’s second-ever European trophy when they won the 2022/23 Europa Conference League the following season.

Our guests were treated to a stadium tour prior to the game and were given exclusive pitchside access to watch the players warm-up ahead of the match.

When it was time for kick-off, they made their way to our JD box where they would watch the game in VIP style.

Despite going one-nil down when Albert Sambi Lokonga gave the visitors an early lead, West Ham rallied in the second half. Goals from James Ward-Prowse, Tomáš Souček and George Earthy secured a 3-1 win.

David Moyes was given a fitting send-off from the home crowd and the positive energy around the stadium at the final whistle made the day even more special.

To round off the day, West Ham legends James Collins, Jimmy Walker, Rufus Brevett and Matt Jarvis popped in to say hello to our guests, before each were given personalised West Ham shirts and a gift box.

Finally, before heading home, our winners walked away with their own personalised West Ham shirts to celebrate the win for the Hammers.
