Wrappin’ Up: JD Festive Watch Party

We told you this event was gonna be a big one, and just like Father Christmas, JD really delivered the goods!

To celebrate our partnership with West Ham, we decided to host a watch party for a massive game between the Irons and Spurs.

To kick-off the evening, those lucky enough to bag tickets were treated to refreshments throughout, as well as plenty of photo opps with West Ham’s famous mascot, Hammerhead.

Linkin’ Up With Legends

Irons enthusiast, Chris Scull (@cjscull), was able to get some matchday insight from two icons of the club in Marlon Harewood (@marlonharewoodofficial) and Matt Jarvis (@matt_jarvis_official).

Also on the stage, Shannon Cooke (@shann_cooke), Kirsty Smith (@kirstysmith.11) and Hawa Cissoko (@hawacissoko23) joined the legends to give their thoughts on the game.

From chatter to the console, the West Ham women’s players and fans got stuck into a game of FC24 to get warmed up for a cracker of a Premier League fixture.

Ballers To Beats!

Local lad, Guvna B (@guvnab), was joined by Joel Baker (@joelbakermusic) and Nick Brewer (@itsnickbrewer) to drop an exclusive performance with the track “Bellingham”.

After spraying bars, Guvna B and Yarns (@_yarns__) took to JD’s insta (@jdfootball) to create fire content. Also on the scene were Alex Bailess (@alexbailess), Samantha Miller (@samanthajademiller), and Luke Solve (@lukesolvecollectibles) gave their opinions.

Game Time

With the place now pumped up, it was time for the London derby! It wasn’t the ideal start for the away side, Romero was able to open the scoring with a header from a corner.

David Moyes’ men weren’t able to find an equaliser in the first half, the Scot would need to use the break wisely to get back into the contest.

Whatever he said worked wonders, less than ten minutes into the second half, Jarrod Bowen drew his side level.

James Ward-Prowse capitalised on sloppy play from Spurs and tucked the ball into the net! For the next 20 minutes, West Ham froze out their opposition and bagged all three points. What a game, what day!
