As Paris gears up to host The Games later this Summer, Nike kickstarted the action ahead of the best athletes descending on France’s capital with its own take on the games.
To feel what it’s like to be a true athlete, Nike invited guests to take part in a range of sports activities at the Stade Jean Guimier in Nanterre.
Here’s how they got on 🏃🥇
Eyes on the Prize
The restored sports arena took us from the court to the track as locals competed against each other across basketball, football, dance, tennis and running for a chance to finish on the winner’s podium.
Whether they were dunking big, smashing forehands or hitting top speed, with tokens to the JD Showroom up for grabs, the competition was on!
With our host Nico Colombien (@bigcolombien) bringing the hype to every event, things went up a notch when San Antonio Spurs’ Forward-Centre Victor Wembanyama (@wemby) showed his face! ⛹️
Inspiring the next gen of young ‘ballers, Wemby gave us a lil’ demo of why he’s one of the hottest prospects in the NBA when he took on some of the crowd on the court.
After every event finished, the best athletes of the day were decided and each winner got to pick out a full Nike ‘fit including trainers from our JD Showroom.
And if they wanted to take their style to the next level, Matt B Customs (@mattbcustoms) was on hand to create bespoke designs on their fresh pair of trainers 👟
To cap off the day, rapper Tiakola (@tiakola) delivered an exclusive performance up on stage!
