Earlier this year Tyler, The Creator and Converse shook up the world of sneakers with their bright and bold collab on the Golf Le Fleur kicks!
Following soon after the release of Tyler’s 2017 album Flower Boy, the reworked One Star sneaks replaced the typical star to the sidewalls with a flower – which was a bold but popular move that left people wanting more from Converse and Tyler!
The wait is now officially over! Converse and Tyler have announced the latest two-tone designs of the Golf Le Fleur sneakers, dropping June 1st @JD. Coming in both men’s and women’s sizes, the kicks will be dressed in pink/orange, purple/green, red/blue and light blue/pink colourways. Each model comes with a smooth suede upper, contrasting white laces and a monochrome flower print to the outsole – guaranteed to turn heads.
If you’re already a fan, you might be thinking you’ve seen these before…For the past few months we’ve been teased with previews online. In early April, Tyler sent a pair to his frequent collaborator Phillip Leeds who promptly showed them off on the ‘gram, but even earlier than this, Tyler himself can be seen wearing a pair in the music video for “Okra” which dropped in late March!
