That’s another year of Ball Out boxed off! After linking up with the UK’s biggest 3×3 tournament for a second year running, it’s all come to a head after the finals took place this weekend.
We took to the courts in London’s Finsbury Park on 17th and 18th August to catch the final rounds of the Ball Out UK 2024 tournament!

After a huge first year in partnership with Ball Out UK in 2023, we came back even bigger this time around for Ball Out’s 10-year anniversary!
Over the weekend, the competition saw the national finals of Ball Out’s 3×3 b-ball tournament. With a huge range of talent showing up to take on the courts, Luke Vernon took over our JD socials to keep you in the loop online, with a live-look at all the action.
We brought the energy with our very own JD viewing spot with stacks of activities, including challenges and prizes up for grabs, with a customisation station and an exclusive VIP court to watch the games. @MoreThanBallShow showed up in VIP style, along with b-ball players and creators Ola Awosika, Paige Robinson, Deric Eze, Shequila Joseph and @RaisingZion1!
The JD court hosted a skillz challenge for the audience to practice their b-ball skills, a RoboShot experience to dunk the highest number of shots, and our own ‘Crack The Code’ comp to win a pair of trainers!
Not stopping there, we got the crowd going with electrifying performances from Kairo Keys and Sturdy Off, bringing their unique energy and talent to the courts. If that didn’t blow your mind, the dunk contest saw pro-dunker Jordan Sutherland dunk over our JD-branded Porsche 🤯
We linked up with the JD Foundation, in collaboration with local charity Borough of Basketball to encourage sign-ups for the Finsbury Park basketball sessions hosted for young people through the Summer.
What’s more, all qualifiers and winners of the competitions won exclusive Ball Out patches and a JD goodie bag, and we kept everyone hydrated with drinks from Applied Nutrition.
