A New Generation
The Air Max Genome add a fresh face to the legendary Air Max collection. Its inspiration comes from the early 2000s, taking old-school style and remastering the look with a modern, sports-inspired edge. Did ya know, the latest silhouette was actually first dubbed ‘DNA’, later changing to ‘Genome’ ahead of launch – the term for a full set of DNA!
Up top, the upper combines panels of mesh and synthetic with no-sew skins for a fast-paced look. Caged overlays to the midfoot add extra dimension, while a padded, low-cut collar keep the look sleek and comfy.
The Air Max Genome is Nike’s first trainer to come equipped with Air cushioning designed for performance, even though it’s an everyday lifestyle sneak. It sits on a full-length Air unit that was built specifically for running, meaning maximum, all-day comfort however you choose to wear ‘em.
Made using Nike’s recycled Grind rubber, the outsole takes cues from the iconic Free Run family with a grippy waffle tread and performance-ready tooling for traction. To finish up, Nike’s legendary Swoosh logo.
Add Some Air
Pairing with shorts, track pants, joggers and more, the Air Max Genome is ultra-versatile. It’s dropped in sizing for men, women and juniors and has landed in three must-cop colourways!
