In the run up to next week’s Air Max Day, Nike have re-worked some of their most iconic silhouettes! Dubbed the ‘Throwback Future’ pack, this fire new collection pays homage to Nike’s nostalgic roots and heat-packed archive, while reppin’ a futuristic colourway.
Built to show off each sneaker’s tech, Nike’s VP of Colour Design Courtney Dailey says “Our more expressive Air Max models shine with more expressive colourways”. From classic icons to some of their latest releases, this pack has it all. Guaranteed to go off 🔥

Just when we thought they couldn’t go further, Nike have taken the Air Max 720 up a level with the ‘Throwback Future’ edition of the sneak. Mixing a stealthy black colourway with iridescent hits, Nike’s tallest Air unit to date gets amplified!
Given the shimmering colour treatment, the Air VaporMax 2019 guarantees to turn heads. With the same, translucent TPU upper in a black colourway, these futuristic trainers keep all eyes on the iridescent Air unit underfoot.
Nike’s winterised sneaker gets propelled further into the future as part of the latest pack. In a blacked-out colourway, the Air VaporMax Run Utility elevates the Air with Laser Fuchsia overlays and Air unit. On the streets or the track, the iridescent hits make an instant statement.
The Air Max 270 brings glistening hues to a visible, 270-degree Air unit. With pops of iridescent colour to the heel, Air and Swoosh branding, these lifestyle sneakers combine old school inspo from the Air Max 180 and Air Max 93, with futuristic tech and a next-level colourway.
Nike’s gal-excusive sneak gets a shimmering upgrade as part of the pack. The Air Max Dia SE shields the Air unit with a dreamy blue/purple overlay, while a bright pink outsole gives brings everyday traction and a statement finish. Cute AND comfy.
Tinker Hatfield’s ‘90s icon gets propelled into the future. The Air Max 97 LX sneaker combines the OG design lines with futuristic overlays – the definition of ‘Throwback Future’! Highlighting the classic silhouette, this fire new edition reps the same wavy overlays and full-length Air unit, but is dressed in a black and Laser Fuchsia colourway.
Inspired by water dropping into a pond, the Air Max 95 Premium still reps Sergio Lozano’s iconic wavy overlays, almost 25 years later! The 95 was Nike’s first Air Max trainer with a black midsole, and it’s still making serious waves. This edition has an iridescent upper, which is toned down with a blacked-out midsole – making Air units in the heel and forefoot pop.
Nike’s futuristic runner gets upgraded as part of the ‘Throwback Future’ pack. With exposed, Flywire cables giving it a modern look, the Air Max Sequent 4 Utility was made for the Black Laser colourway.
