Always at the top of their game, Nike are forever bringing us the latest heat. Whether it’s an all-new silhouette or a mashed-up hybrid, Nike’s sneaker game keeps going up a level.
Showing no signs of slowing down, their latest mash-up just dropped; the Air VaporMax 360. Combining two of Nike’s legendary kicks, these sneaks take elements from each to create the ultimate hybrid.
For the VaporMax 360, Nike’s have looked to their archives, merging the Air Max 360 with VaporMax.
When the Air Max 360 dropped back in 2006, the sneaker changed the game. It was the first trainer to sport a fully uncaged Air unit, which is why sneakerheads instantly drew parallels between this and the VaporMax back when they first landed; Air Max Day 2017.
Offering unparalleled comfort and a switched-up look, the AM360 soon became iconic. To pay homage to their Air Max lineage, Nike have brought the Air Max 360 back – giving it a futuristic upgrade 14 years after it first dropped.
To nod to ‘06’s OG, the VaporMax 360 has a durable textile upper with a lightweight TPU that wraps around the heel. Also taking cues from the Air Max 360, these trainers are equipped with synthetic skins and speed lacing loops for a locked in fit. Propelling the old-school sneak into the future, they’re sat on a full-length foam midsole for a smooth ride, as well as Nike’s legendary VaporMax Air unit for lightweight cushioning and an ultra-responsive feel.
