Sterling Wears The JD-Exclusive New Balance 327

The New Balance 327 has been making waves in a big way since 2020.

With stacks of colourways and collabs under its belt over the last few years, the retro-inspired 327 silhouette has become nothing short of iconic.

Adding to the roster, we’ve just dropped an all-new JD-exclusive colourway (with another landing real soon too!), and Raheem Sterling is lacing up in ‘em.

Want all the deets? We’ve got you ⬇️⬇️

Close Up with the 327

The 327 was first revealed back in 2020, kickstarting its life with a collab with Casablanca.

For the design, the Boston-based brand took cues from their archives, focusing specifically on the ‘70s. The brain behind the 327 is sneaker designer, Charlotte Lee. Based in Manchester, Lee combined elements from the New Balance 320 and Super Comp, which both dropped back in the ‘70s. From the asymmetric midsole to the studded, wraparound outsole, many of the design deets have been borrowed from the archives, but rather than it looking like a trainer from the ‘70s – the 327 sits perfectly between the worlds of old and new.

But why the ‘70s? Well, it was undoubtedly a big decade for the brand. When the 320s landed in ’76, the now-iconic N logo was first ever introduced. Something we see on every NB kick today.

Only at JD 👊

If you’re looking to add a pair to your rotation, we just dropped a fresh colourway that’s only available here at JD.

Combining hues of Slate Grey and Cement, these trainers have a smooth nylon upper with synthetic overlays for added support. They’re sat on a chunky midsole for a comfy feel, and are finished up with the signature lugged outsole that’s inspired by the 355 trail runner.

The Arctic Grey and Navy colourway will be launching soon – so watch this space 👀

As seen on Sterling, cop the latest in the 327 line-up now.
