Around two years since VaporMax first arrived on the scene, Nike brings us another evolution of the game-changing sneakers – the Air VaporMax Flyknit 3!
Takin’ your street style further and pushin’ the latest tech to its limits, the Air VaporMax Flyknit 3 trainers are essential cops!
First droppin’ on Air Max Day 2017, the Air VaporMax Flyknit completely switched up the sneaker game. Debuting VaporMax cushioning, the creps used Air units combined with pods to take Max Air further than ever before while ditchin’ the midsole – givin’ sneakerheads the truest ever feelin’ of walkin’ on Air!
With Flyknit to the upper, Nike combined two of their standout technologies! The Flyknit supported the feet while keepin’ them cool, makin’ sure your creps were always as fresh as they looked. Coming with Flywire cables to make sure you were always locked-in with on-point style, the VaporMax Flyknit immediately became iconic.
Refusing to stick to a formula, Nike has brought us a range of VaporMax sneakers in the two years since the OGs dropped.
The Air VaporMax came not long after the OG Flyknit versions. Refreshing the upper with some robust mesh and additional synthetic overlays, they brought added durability and lightweight comfort.
The Air VaporMax Flyknit 2 took the OG to the next level. Updating the Flyknit, they brought added support with losing flexibility. A lightweight overlay to the heel not only added lightweight support but changed up the look of the upper.
Mixin’ the old with the new, the Air VaporMax Plus took inspo from the iconic ’98 Air Max Plus creps with their neoprene upper for a retro look. All while keepin’ the next-level VaporMax cushioning for the best of both worlds.
Makin’ sure you’re reppin’ the creps in all conditions, the Air VaporMax Run Utility creps gave you wardrobe some winterised editions. Using a textile and ripstop upper to keep you covered, they had exposed Flywire with a toggle fasten.
The most recent editions came at the end of 2018 when the Air VaporMax 2019 sneakers dropped. Again, movin’ in a fresh direction, the 2019 editions have a translucent TPU upper that lets you see what’s goin’ on underneath, all while bringin’ statement style.
The Air VaporMax 3 delivers a fresh Flyknit upper that is not only more supportive and flexible but adds a two-tone purple and black design with the men’s edition, while the women’s editions keep things sleek, coming in an black and white colourways.
While bringin’ more support to the heel, the VaporMax 3 keeps the essential tech of the previous versions; Flywire cables to keep you locked-in, with the tinted VaporMax unit delivering unbeatable cushioning.
