The Sole Supplier’s Guide to The Hottest Spring/Summer Footwear at JD Sports

You made it through the misery of Dry January, the icy morning’s and dull skies of February are nearly over – it can mean only one thing. Spring is almost here!

Winter doesn’t officially end until Thursday 20th March in the UK but why wait until then to cop some Spring/Summer footwear? Here, the good folks at The Sole Supplier give you their run-down on the hottest footwear for the summer months.

Be sure to visit their blog for the latest sneaker news and release info!

Nike Air Force 1 ’07 Grey Black –

Could this be the most iconic summer trainer ever made?! We can’t get enough of the Air Force 1, a chunky shoe that remains just as timeless as ever. It’s usually the leather-crafted styles which command the most respect such as this grey coloured masterpiece. Darker hits offer the perfect complement, featuring to the swoosh across the sidewall.

adidas Ultra boost 4.0 White

Sneakerheads are more demanding than they’ve ever been. Most aren’t willing to sacrifice on comfort. Thankfully, the Ultra Boost remains the go-to for unbelievable cushioning matched with that striking style, perfect for any hype beast. Although JD is currently stocking several of the NEW 4.0 colourways, now is the time to cop some ‘Triple White’ footwear.

Nike Vapormax Black Pop

Dark coloured footwear isn’t usually amongst our top recommendations for the summer months but we have to make an exception for this Vapormax. After all, it does sit on a refreshing wedge of orange coloured AIR. You just know these are going to look bangin’ with shorts!

Nike Air Max 97 Premium Grey

Here at The Sole Supplier, we love nothing more than a restock, especially on a completely “Deadstock” pair of creps. That said, the return of the Air Max 97 in grey suede came as great news for those who missed these last year. In our opinion, one of the finest Air Max 97 colourways, ever!

VANS Checkerboard Slip On

We predict a strong come-back this summer for many of the iconic VANS styles. Take their signature Checkerboard Slip On which just screams SoCal vibes. It was made popular recently by none other than Justin Beiber, but don’t let that put you off.

adidas NMD STLT Primeknit Grey

Meet your new favourite beater. The NMD STLT Primeknit is the ultimate everyday trainer. The lightweight Primeknit upper makes these ideal for packing in your suitcase, ready for that summer adventure. We like this grey colourway but there are several other options at JD Sports.

adidas Originals I-5923 Boost JD Exclusive

If winter is the time for blacked-out footwear then Spring and Summer is all about colour. As the days get brighter and longer, consider wearing something a little bolder. For those who like to stay somewhat understated, this JD Exclusive is the perfect compromise. A deep shade of maroon merges the line between refined and eye-catching.

Nike Air Vapormax Plus Blue

This Frankenstein creation sees a full length Vapormax midsole transplanted below the iconic upper of the Air Max Plus. Somehow, it just works! This sole-swapped trainer is gloriously comfortable and guaranteed to grab attention – all for the right reasons.

Nike Epic React >

The team at The Sole Supplier have been waiting patiently for this release ever since Nike teased images of a pillow sat above some springs last month. That bizarre marketing campaign managed to create plenty of hype for what’s considered the most ground-breaking running innovation since adidas Boost. Even if you’re not mad about exercise, you’ve got to appreciate the look of these with some light coloured jeans.
