Following on from the head-turning Thunder Spectra which dropped and instantly flew out in April, PUMA is back again with the hotly anticipated, Thunder Electric. Who says lightning doesn’t strike twice!?
The Thunder Electric becomes the latest in a long line of chunky silos being dropped by all the top brands this season. Others include the PUMA RS-0 Play, Nike Air Huarache, adidas Originals Prophere, FILA Disruptor, and many more, all available to check out @ JD.
Oozing ’90s aesthetic, the Thunder Electric borrows heavily from the performance-heavy MCQ Tech Runner (which was designed by the late Alexander McQueen), bringing bold colours, unique layering and a sporty edge to a street essential.
Named the Thunder Electric because of how the design “reflects the electrifying power of lightning”, it’s built with an upper made from layered leather and breathable textile in bold colourways. Sat on a standout, chunky midsole with speckle detailing, the sneak has an undeniably eclectic design to go with the electric name.
