How did you get in to what you do?
One of my best friends needed a makeup artist for a music video she was directing herself. She didn’t have much of a budget so I said I’d do it. I was on set with a really good hairstylist and a really good wardrobe stylist that thought I did a really good job – they started to recommend me for jobs after that shoot.
What has been the biggest high of your career so far?
Doing makeup for the queen: Ms Lauryn Hill. And also, just working with amazing people regularly.
What makes you unique?
My techniques on how to achieve certain looks!
What advice would you give to others?
Work as much as you possibly can, and always think of different ways to perfect your craft.
How have the people around you helped you get to where you are today?
Everyone around me always gives me good advice that I take on board! Reflecting is so important.
