The Story Behind Perry Ellis
Back in ’76, fashion-designer Perry Ellis founded his own, self-titled brand. With a focus on innovation, Perry Ellis soon made waves, picking up a handful of awards, as well as going on to create a number of sub-brands.
Although Perry Ellis was founded back in ‘76, Perry Ellis America didn’t drop until almost a decade later in 1984. Joining forces with Levi’s, the Perry Ellis America sub-label changed the game. The collection took premium fashion, which the brand was already known for, and combined it with off-duty essentials to bring people something totally fresh.
The Latest Retro Revival
Perry Ellis America is officially back and the latest collection just landed at JD. Paying homage to the OG collection from ’84, the latest drop revives and refreshes some of their most iconic ‘fits.
Digging back into the archives, each piece takes cues from the ‘90s. Expect bold colours, throwback taping and unmissable logos.
